Solve the problem of PFC chip circuit resistance damage.

Hardware design
October 14, 2020 by Hanna 1345

The label of the transformer is reversed, so when it is connected incorrectly, the sampling resistor R11 is broken. I don't understand the mechanism of transformer, ZCD and GD. I hope someone can explain it to me.

You should use RCD to absorb it, TVS may not be very good, especially for larger power.

Be sure to remember to string a light bulb before powering it up if you are not sure whether it will explode.

Sometimes a few cycles can damage MOS. Even if the light bulb is stringed. After the large capacitor is fully charged, the energy is still sufficient. After it broke, I saw the light was on all the time.

Is it because the transformer is not loaded?
