For single-tube amplifiers, you have to select the triode and debug the RB repeatedly to get a good working point. You seem to be using it to amplify the MIC.

You can adjust the DC operating point, then use a signal generator to input the signal, and use an oscilloscope to see how the waveform is, and you can check whether it is distorted.

Remember that the launch junction is forward biased, and the collector junction is reverse biased. It works in the amplification area. I don't know if it's correct.
