The USB 2.0 Full-speed Device Module of the microcontrollers provides a total of four programmable endpoints. Endpoint 0 is the default control endpoint with a programmable size FIFO up to 64 bytes. Additionally, the internal bandgap reference in the AT90USB82/162 microcontrollers can be used as an input to the Analog Comparator. The reference has a start-up time that may influence its usage, and it is turned on when the BOD is enabled or when connected to the Analog Comparator. Users must allow the reference to start up before using the output from the Analog Comparator to ensure proper functionality .
